Cinematic Treasure Box – Full CG Scene in Blender & Nuke

A 100% CG cinematic shot, created using Blender and composited in Nuke with detailed render passes for maximum control over lighting, depth, and atmosphere.

Set in a dark, mysterious cave, the centerpiece is a treasure box, flanked by a map and compass, suggesting an untold adventure. A flickering fire source glows behind, adding visual warmth and tension to the scene.

Assets were sourced from Sketchfab and Quixel Megascans, with careful lighting and layout done in Blender. Rendered in Cycles, and all render passes—diffuse, specular, emission, Z-depth, and more—were brought into Nuke to build the final composite and cinematic mood.

This work is a personal study in cinematic CG look development, asset integration, realistic lighting, and node-based compositing in a production-like pipeline.
